i'm a writer, but not professionally, a musician, but not professionally. i learned flute first, and years ago a pretty girl told me i should learn guitar. eventually, i did. i live in canada. i'm second gen. somewhere west of québec, east of bc.

i like new writing and old music, big symphonies and small poems. i take my coffee black, my whisky neat. i wear my hair long and forget my glasses.

i go by malachite because it's a new alias, one i haven't used before. i leave a bit out to be safe. if you think you know me, no you don't. room for deniability. i'm learning, slowly.
