2024-05-24: pulling back
in the group chat, one of us writes that she's stepping back for her mental health (multiple heart reactions; no replies). she's been there almost from the beginning — we've been chatting for a year now, though she's been less and less present. and now, i guess, she's gone.
a sadness in this, both the leaving and the announcement. the subtext: all this is bad for my mental health. the subtext: you all mean so little to me that i'll just leave. the subtext: by doing so i'll be better.
