2025-12-12: the plan

had a dream that i was in someone's apartment. they handed me two small mammals. like ferrets, i guess, but not, some sort of indeterminate, wide-eyed dream-creature. i was wearing a blue blazer, with inexplicably deep inner pockets. i slipped them inside.

there was an apartment inspector. i fooled him. he eventually left. my companion and i checked the pocket-things. they were fine. we placed them on a table. i'm going to ask one more thing of you, she told me, and unrolled an elaborate map.
