& that should about round things out. i basically have one pedal per effect at this point, the only overlap(-ish) being a traditional fuzz and a muff, which are different enough that it's not really overlap.
i tell myself (again) that it's okay to spend money on myself on things that make me happy; i've played music all my life, still have the flute i played when i was a kid, my first guitar from my 20s, everything. i hang on to things, i don't flip anything, and i tell myself (again, again) that it's okay to spend money on myself on things that make me happy (especially musical things that make me happy) because they'll be there for me today and tomorrow and going forward, too.
at some point i need a physical pedalboard or two, but not yet. a larger one for the more ambient stuff (volume, tuner, looper, compression, delay, reverb), and a smaller one (tuner, compression, looper, reverb) for some other stuff. because i'm working towards a couple of concrete goals, the first being to record and release some ambient music, even if only to a friend who asked me to send him something when i had something ready. & the second (and much more terrifying), to be to finish a song i've been kinda working on for a while, and practice it over and over and then go to an open mic and...yeah.
